Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR and Site Administrator at ACS Recruitment Solutions Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in HR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Time and Attendance Management: Manage the Time & Attendance clocking system, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
  • New Starter Process: Support the Payroll Admin with the new starter process, including right to work checks and starter forms.
  • Payroll Support: Assist the Payroll Assistant with agency hours and invoice processing.
  • Training Coordination: Manage and book internal and external training for operational employees.
  • Employee Life-Cycle Processes: Own the new starter induction process, monitor probationary periods, and manage the leaver process.
  • Absence Management: Monitor absence levels and make recommendations to managers and the HRBP.
  • Reporting and Administration: Maintain tracking reports in coordination with Payroll & HR Officer/Advisor.
  • Uniform and Supplies Management: Manage the uniform process, including ordering and stock management.
  • General Administration: Provide administrative support, including responding to queries and maintaining depot notice boards.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment activities, including creating job descriptions and job listings.
  • Policy and Procedure: Provide advice on HR policies and procedures, and support with policy refreshes and amendments.
  • Engagement and Employee Relations: Support with engagement activities and initiatives, and provide low-level support for employee relations matters.
Requirements:
  • HR Experience: Essential experience in HR, preferably in a logistics or 3PL organization.
  • Logistics Experience: Desired experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Driving License: Current, clean driving license and access to a car for occasional travel to other sites.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD level 3 or 5 desirable, but not essential.
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiasm, drive, and a can-do attitude, with high levels of organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
