- New Starter Process: Support the Payroll Admin with the new starter process, including right to work checks and starter forms.
- Payroll Support: Assist the Payroll Assistant with agency hours and invoice processing.
- Training Coordination: Manage and book internal and external training for operational employees.
- Employee Life-Cycle Processes: Own the new starter induction process, monitor probationary periods, and manage the leaver process.
- Absence Management: Monitor absence levels and make recommendations to managers and the HRBP.
- Reporting and Administration: Maintain tracking reports in coordination with Payroll & HR Officer/Advisor.
- Uniform and Supplies Management: Manage the uniform process, including ordering and stock management.
- General Administration: Provide administrative support, including responding to queries and maintaining depot notice boards.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment activities, including creating job descriptions and job listings.
- Policy and Procedure: Provide advice on HR policies and procedures, and support with policy refreshes and amendments.
- Engagement and Employee Relations: Support with engagement activities and initiatives, and provide low-level support for employee relations matters.
- HR Experience: Essential experience in HR, preferably in a logistics or 3PL organization.
- Logistics Experience: Desired experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Skills: High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Education: CIPD level 3 or 5 desirable, but not essential.
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (33 days' holiday per annum).
