Senior Digital Construction Coordinator

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Construction Coordinator to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Digital Team, you'll play a crucial role in enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the information management team to ensure the use of the common data environment (CDE) is set-up, adhering to ISO 19650.
  • Contribute content towards the production of monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation and maturity within the business unit and across relevant projects.
  • Support the project team(s) with fulfilling standards, methods, and procedures using specified software and workflows.
  • Contribute to the BIM Execution Plan and other documents that are produced for the project(s).
  • Responsible for raising awareness and the profile of digital implementation within the business unit/project functional departments, including business development, work winning, estimating, design management, building services, commercial, planning, operational, and SHEQ, driving our cultural and behavioural change to a digital first mentality.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents.
  • Ability to discuss openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability.
  • Understanding and experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models.
  • Very good skills in standard Microsoft Office 365.
