Job Description

Job Title: Civil and Structural Engineer - Project Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to lead our project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying project requirements and stakeholder needs, providing engineering support, and overseeing detailed design activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead project teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Engineering Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, including reviewing project documentation and conducting technical assessments of contractors' work.
  3. Design and Construction: Oversee detailed design activities, specify and supervise commissioning/decommissioning processes, and ensure compliance with Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  5. Training and Development: Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Education: HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Over 55 years of nuclear/Defence engineering expertise, with experience across concept design, detailed design, and construction stages.
  3. Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
