About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Deputy. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage with strategic prospects to generate pipeline and create qualified opportunities for our sales team.
  • Run qualification calls with prospects to determine their suitability for our solutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent listening skills and articulate how our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Maintain data cleanliness in our CRM to ensure quality handoff to our sales team.
  • Consistently meet established quota targets to contribute to our revenue growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional quota-carrying sales experience as an outbound BDR or similar role at a SaaS company, with a proven track record of achievement.
  • Team player with excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with excellent phone presence and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A love for making an impact and working with a team to hit key goals and metrics.
  • Passion and curiosity around technology, with the ability to comprehend and articulate value points to customers.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
