Automotive Sales Consultant
Lookers
Salary: Basic £25,000 OTE £50,000 in uncapped commission
44 hours per week (Saturday required with a day off in the week, Sundays on a rota)
Lookers is seeking a driven and skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to become part of our dedicated and welcoming team. Specializing in both new and pre-owned vehicle sales, you will collaborate with our enthusiastic sales personnel to deliver exceptional customer service. As a member of our committed sales team, you will demonstrate outstanding communication abilities to foster relationships with both colleagues and clients. You will be supported by experienced management, which will enhance your knowledge and skills, enabling you to thrive in your career within the automotive sector. Our Automotive Sales Consultants serve as vital contacts, paying close attention to customer preferences and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with customers through various communication channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals, ensuring minimum profit targets are achieved, alongside finance and insurance offerings.
  • Organizing and accompanying clients on vehicle test drives.
  • Completing necessary documentation and procedures as required.
  • Acting as a true representative of the sales process, proactively managing all new and used vehicle inquiries, while establishing rapport with customers to convert appointments into sales and maximizing all leads.
  • Embodying the brand's ethos, sharing a passion for driving with customers, and instilling excitement in their vehicle purchasing experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to outstanding customer service, and a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry. A strong drive and motivation are essential for consistently achieving excellent results.

Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive sector is preferred but not mandatory, as we are always eager to discover new talent to join our team. A full UK driving license is required, as you may be expected to operate some of the most prestigious vehicles available.
