Automotive Sales Consultant
Lookers Group
Salary: Basic £25,000 OTE £50,000 in uncapped commission
44 hours per week (Saturday required with a day off in the week, Sundays on a rota)
Lookers Group is seeking a driven and skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to become part of our dedicated and welcoming team. Focusing on both new and pre-owned vehicle sales, you will collaborate with our enthusiastic sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer service.

As a member of our dynamic sales team, you will be a collaborative individual with outstanding communication abilities, essential for establishing strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced management, enhancing your knowledge and skills to foster a successful career in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through various communication channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives, ensuring minimum profit targets are achieved alongside finance and insurance offerings.
  • Organize and accompany clients on vehicle test drives.
  • Complete necessary documentation and procedures as required.
  • Act as a true representative of the sales process, proactively managing all inquiries related to new and used vehicles, while nurturing relationships to convert leads into sales.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for the brand, instilling excitement in customers regarding their vehicle purchases.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to providing excellent customer service, and a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry. A proactive attitude and motivation are crucial for consistently achieving outstanding results.

While prior experience in a similar role within the automotive sector is preferred, we are open to welcoming new talent to our team. A full UK driving license is required, as you may be expected to drive high-end vehicles.
