Automotive Sales Consultant
Lookers
Salary: Basic £25,000 OTE £50,000 in uncapped commission
44 hours per week (Saturday required with a day off in the week, Sundays on a rota)
Lookers is seeking a driven and skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to become part of our dedicated and friendly team. Focusing on both new and pre-owned vehicle sales, you will collaborate with our enthusiastic sales team to deliver exceptional customer service. As a member of our dynamic sales force, you will possess outstanding communication abilities to foster relationships with both colleagues and clients. You will be working under the guidance of the General Sales Manager, who will support your professional growth and enhance your expertise within the automotive sector. Our Automotive Sales Consultants serve as vital points of contact, paying close attention to customer preferences and requirements.

  • Engaging with customers through various communication channels including email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets while achieving minimum profit objectives, including finance and insurance products.
  • Organizing and accompanying customers on vehicle test drives.
  • Completing necessary documentation and processes as required.
  • Acting as a true representative of the sales process, driving all new and used vehicle inquiries, while establishing rapport with customers to convert leads into sales.
  • Demonstrating a genuine passion for the brand, instilling excitement in customers regarding their vehicle purchases.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills, a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, and a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry. A proactive attitude and motivation are essential for consistently achieving remarkable results.

Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive sector is preferred but not mandatory, as we are always eager to discover new talent. A full UK driving license is required, as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious vehicles available.
