Our client, a leading provider of extended family support services in Hertfordshire, requires a skilled individual to guide and empower three young people (aged 11 to 17) as they navigate their unique journeys.

This role offers a dynamic and multifaceted experience. You will act as a mentor, teacher, coach, and advocate, providing structure, boundaries, and unwavering support within a nurturing environment. Your days may involve engaging in activities such as horse riding, painting, driving, shopping, or virtual schooling, fostering personal growth and development.

As part of a dedicated team of eight, you will work collaboratively on a shift/rota basis, ensuring flexibility and shared responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to assigned young individuals, promoting their well-being and personal growth.
  • Create a structured and nurturing environment that fosters positive development and self-esteem.
  • Implement individualized plans tailored to each young person's needs and aspirations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure consistent care and support.
  • Engage in meaningful activities that promote learning, skill development, and social interaction.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people and a commitment to their success.
  • Previous experience supporting children or teenagers in a residential or care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various locations.
  • Flexibility to work on day/night rotas, including sleeping-in shifts.
