Job Opportunity

Shape IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Data & AI Ethics Consultant to join our client's dynamic team. As a Senior/Principal Data Platform Consultant, you will design and implement innovative data solutions for diverse clients, from start-ups to government departments.

This client-facing role involves conducting workshops, creating high/low-level design documentation, and leading technical implementations, as well as regular travel to client sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement Data Platforms: Develop and implement data platforms aligned with client needs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. Lead Workshops and Develop Technical Documentation: Conduct workshops, create high/low-level design documentation, and support pre-sales activities to drive business outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions, meeting client expectations and driving business growth.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ Years in Data Architecture and Engineering: Proven experience in designing and implementing data architectures and engineering solutions.
  2. Strong Skills in Microsoft Data & AI Products: Proficiency in Microsoft Data & AI products, including Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI, as well as experience with IaaS/on-premises equivalents.
  3. Transact-SQL to a Highly Proficient Level: Strong skills in Transact-SQL, with the ability to write efficient and effective queries.
  4. Data Transformation Expressions in Data Factory/Synapse: Experience with data transformation expressions in Data Factory/Synapse is highly desirable.
  5. Python (Desirable): Familiarity with Python is a plus, but not required.
