Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Operations Supervisor to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our Barclays Execution Services division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations within a business area, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, developing new processes and procedures through data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business operations and promote alignment with bank objectives and SLAs.
  • Manage operational professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to improve delivery quality.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operation functions, utilizing data and technology to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience.
  • Foster a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively encouraging and soliciting feedback to focus on the right areas.
  • Manage attrition by working closely with HR to implement retention initiatives for the workforce.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information, including sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
