Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Clinical Deputy Lead for Women's Forensic Pathway. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and support to the Women's Pathway Clinical Leads, working closely with pathway colleagues, clinicians, and service leads to develop and maintain high-quality services for female service users.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Leadership: Support the Women's Pathway Clinical Leads in providing clinical leadership for the Women across the SLP women's services.
  • Attend Clinical Meetings: Attend twice-monthly Women's Pathway/workstream clinical meetings to discuss new referrals.
  • Deputise for Clinical Leads: Deputise for the Clinical leads as deemed appropriate for the following activities:
  • Liaise with Project Manager and Referrals Coordinators: Liaise with the SLP project manager and Trust referrals coordinators.
  • Ensure Referrals are Allocated and Responded to: Ensure that referrals are allocated and responded to within the agreed timescales.
  • Maintain Knowledge of SLP Women's Pathway Cohorts: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the SLP Women's Pathway cohorts to assist with service development planning.
Key Requirements
  • Full Registration with GMC: Full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practice.
  • Specialist Training or Proven Ability: Evidence of specialist training or proven ability in teaching and formal training in professional/clinical supervision or professional management qualification.
Desirable Experience
  • Senior Clinical or Operational Experience: Senior Clinical or Operational experience working in forensic Services.
  • Experience Working with Forensic Patients: Experience working with or coordinating support for Forensic patients in crisis.
  • Leading or Supporting Service Development Initiatives: Leading or supporting service development initiatives.
