Job Summary

The Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Lead to join our Integrated Community Pathway Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, working with individuals with personality difficulties and high harm offending histories.

Main Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual's unique circumstances and needs.
  • Lead the development of the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway services across London, working with clinical staff and representatives from other agencies.

Service Development

  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of service policies and procedures.
  • Work with health, performance management staff, and other relevant agencies to manage data collection and analysis.
  • Lead on project management, including complex audit and service evaluation.

Management and Leadership

  • Provide clinical supervision and professional management for qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologists and other psychological therapists.
  • Manage direct reports, ensuring that systems are implemented to manage, supervise, appraise, and communicate with all clinical service staff.
  • Lead the development of the OPD community Pathway services across London, involving clinical staff and representatives from other agencies.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping, including electronic data entry and recording.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and other professionals, taking into account the individual's unique circumstances and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies, including the National Probation Service, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Entry-level qualification in applied psychological therapy/mental health/social welfare profession or equivalent.
  • Additional training beyond entry-level qualification in a specialized area of psychological practice.
  • Completed training course in clinical supervision and/or accredited to supervise qualified psychological practitioners.
  • Registered with professional body or regulatory body.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
