Job Summary:
Lifelancer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Programmer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Clinical Data Management team, you will be responsible for leading programming activities for multiple studies, providing technical advice and support to the data management team, and overseeing the work product of other programmers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead programming activities for multiple studies, ensuring high quality and timeliness.
- Provide technical advice and support to the data management team.
- Oversee the work product of other programmers, ensuring high quality and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL programming code.
- Configure studies/projects using ETL tools and write complex SQL queries for report development.
- Ingest data from various data sources and integrate data from external applications using ETL tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Clinical Data Management (data managers, data review team, recon team) during studies and provide necessary Clinical programming input and solutions.
- Develop programming guidelines/documents as necessary.
- Provide creative programming solutions based on day-to-day study and DM process challenges.
- Devise methodical approaches to solve problems and proactively identify possible risks/problems.
Requirements:
- High proficiency in programming languages in CDMS like SAS/ETL and SQL Plus.
- Good knowledge of data standards, such as CDISC and SDTM.
- High proficiency in Clinical Data Management procedures, including Good Clinical Practices (GCP), 21 CFR part 11, and other regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational, influencing, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a team-oriented approach.
- Significant, demonstrated experience with clinical programming, clinical data management, CRO industry, and data reporting, along with languages such as SAS and SQL.
- Proven ability to independently determine the most appropriate methods and procedures across Clinical Data Management projects.
- Displays strong writing and verbal presentation skills, ability to convey complex/technical information to a variety of audiences, and build alignment around an issue.
