Clinical Lead Nurse

We're seeking a highly experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at European LifeCare Group. As a key member of our vaccination programme team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
About the Role:
The Clinical Lead Nurse will be responsible for leading our immunisation programme, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with CQC guidelines and standards. This will involve working closely with our clinical staff to maintain high clinical standards and prioritise patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the vaccination programme, ensuring compliance with CQC guidelines and standards.
- Support the Clinical Director in delivering the programme, maintaining regular contact with clinical staff to ensure they are working within our policies and standards.
- Address safeguarding concerns, escalating to the Clinical Director and attending quarterly supervision as required.
- Act as the primary contact for nurses regarding clinical queries or safeguarding concerns.
- Provide support to Senior Management for all compliance-related matters, ensuring we operate according to regulations.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping for all formal and informal clinical supervision, staff training and recruitment, and incidents and complaints.
- Attend CQC inspections as required.
- Conduct annual performance development reviews for clinical staff, assessing clinical competencies and ensuring that staff undertake a comprehensive clinical induction.
- Document training and support sessions according to our standards and requirements.
- Work with Senior Management to ensure accurate recording of clinical incidents and complaints, allocating investigating officers and completing outcome forms.
- Act as a liaison with Senior Management to ensure organisational learning and patient safety are optimised.
Requirements:
- Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the NMC.
- Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Working within PGD frameworks.
- Safeguarding trained.
- Immunisation essential.
- Managerial/Leadership experience.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, time-management and record-keeping skills.
