The successful candidate will have a Monday to Friday schedule with an early finish on Fridays.

Salary:

Up to £40,000 per annum.

The Role:

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, specifying, sourcing, and commissioning production systems to deliver products on time, to quality requirements, and within budget.
  • Production capacity planning and forecasting to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities in quality, with ownership of improvement plans for cycle times, touch times, and process improvement through the use of lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and eliminate waste.
  • Providing technical support to daily operational review meetings and ensuring prompt reaction to production stoppages.
  • Performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions to prevent future issues.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment within the fabrication industry.
  • A hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
