Manufacturability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturability Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Design Engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturability and producibility of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Design for Manufacturing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure cost, delivery, and product safety targets are met.
- Drive Rapid Resolution of Issues: Identify and implement corrective actions to improve performance and eliminate repeat defects during industrialization and production.
- Develop Robust Manufacturing Technical Packages: Create and deliver technical instructions, inspection plans, and manufacturing stage drawings to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Support High Performance Culture: Champion continuous improvement and drive initiatives to eliminate concessions and rework.
- Control and Reduce Costs: Continuously challenge manufacturing methods to drive profitability in the factory.
- Assess and Sentence Concessions: Effectively and timely assess and sentence internal and external concessions, production permits, and manufacturing quality issues.
- Deploy and Execute DAR and PCB Process: Implement minor design modifications and drive lessons learned into methods and designs.
- Technical Authority: Ensure design intent is achieved and drive continuous improvements.
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent experience in engineering management and/or an operational function.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Designer or Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors, with knowledge of Quality, Industrialization, and Operations processes.
- Skills: Technical knowledge, design engineering background, expertise in design and definition process of complex products, experience with CAD and PLM packages, and experience in continuous improvement, root cause investigation, and lean techniques.
