Due to a robust pipeline of projects in the region and exciting new ventures with our clients, we are seeking a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to enhance our team.


You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team comprising 110 professionals from Stantec, spanning 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, alongside our clients and consultant/contractor partners, working together to deliver projects across the UK and Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative group of modellers, contributing to long-term frameworks while engaging in industry-leading projects.


ABOUT YOU


To qualify for this role, you must possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field, and be a member of a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. You should have prior experience leading projects in an urban drainage context. Successful candidates will showcase technical expertise across a broad spectrum of urban drainage modelling activities.

Your role will involve providing guidance, training, and fostering staff development and wellbeing within the discipline.

The position will require participation in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage projects, ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and adherence to best practices.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (both external and internal), and establishing connections within the industry.


Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience in managing and developing our personnel, along with the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team and provide technical leadership in an urban drainage environment, maintaining a strong client service focus.
