Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Buckinghamshire, UK (Hybrid working, 2-3 days a week in the office)

IC Resources is in search of a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance our client's capabilities in Buckinghamshire, UK. The ideal candidate will focus on the development and implementation of sophisticated computer vision models while managing extensive datasets to ensure their quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Create, develop, and train cutting-edge computer vision models.
  • Data Oversight: Oversee and process large datasets, ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.
  • Pipeline Architecture: Design and establish robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for machine learning models.
  • Performance Enhancement: Enhance model performance utilizing CUDA technology.
  • Model Deployment: Implement machine learning models in production settings, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning functionalities into products.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical leadership and mentorship to a small group of engineers and data scientists.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educational Credentials: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Over 3 years of professional experience in developing and training computer vision models.
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong programming capabilities in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Data Management Skills: Proven experience in managing and processing substantial datasets.
  • Pipeline Familiarity: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for machine learning applications.
  • Optimization Tools: Proficient in utilizing performance optimization tools like CUDA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deployment Experience: Experience in deploying machine learning models in live environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Background in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
