This role is ideal for a seasoned Systems Architect to oversee new design initiatives and sustain current products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive Systems Engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership and influence across multiple projects to guarantee the selection of the best methodologies, architectures, designs, and implementations.
  • Take charge of designing, developing, and delivering Systems Engineering documentation for various projects, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Work collaboratively with system, hardware, and software teams to maintain consistency, modularity, reusability, and technical excellence in design.
  • Actively participate in or lead specific project components to achieve an optimal balance between requirements, timelines, and costs.
  • Manage client relationships and external vendors to ensure adherence to established processes and the fulfillment of project goals.
  • Generate and evaluate technical proposals, providing precise estimates for associated efforts, costs, and risks related to bids and proposals leading to contract awards.
  • Collaborate closely with project management and engineering leads to formulate proposals aimed at reducing project expenses and enhancing profit margins.
  • Review and endorse technical documents and lead technical evaluations for significant deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with information security regulations as outlined in the Security manual.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a Science-related field.
  • Proven experience and understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including the V-Model and associated processes/lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality requirements and establish fully compliant systems designs.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with JAMA and hands-on experience in hardware, software, or firmware development, particularly in embedded systems (desirable).
