Enterprise Architect - ERP, Azure, Digital Transformation


Burns Sheehan, a leading innovator in environmental sustainability, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to spearhead strategic digital transformation initiatives. This pivotal role will involve defining future architecture, applications, technologies, and security for the entire product platform ecosystem, driving the development of modular, distributed, and highly scalable commercial platforms.


As an Enterprise Architect, you will be integral to engineering activities, partnering with product teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions powered by serverless or micro-services architecture, predominantly in Azure. You will bring a strategic approach to transitioning from a substantial legacy estate to modern, flexible technologies, aligning with the latest trends to enable business growth with a large part of the role being related to improving the usage of their ERP systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product teams to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions using serverless or micro-services architecture.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives, leveraging Azure to improve scalability and reduce costs.
  • Design and implement ERP systems, such as Dynamics 365, to improve business processes and increase productivity.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on cloud migration and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on development experience with enterprise applications in languages such as C++,.Net, Python, Java, and SQL/no-SQL technologies.
  • Experience with frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, and designing MicroService/Event-driven architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
