Senior Systems Architect

Important:
All candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance and have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years.
Work Environment:
The position is primarily office/hybrid based, with occasional travel to various company or client locations within the UK or internationally. Expected office presence is approximately 2-3 days per week, depending on project requirements.

This position will involve supporting both new design initiatives and ongoing product enhancements. The Systems Engineering division offers expertise across all projects throughout the bidding and comprehensive development lifecycle.It ensures compliance with both project and regulatory standards while striving to enhance the efficiency of the systems design process within the organization.
Responsibilities include overseeing system architecture and the integration of solutions, as well as focusing on cost-effective design and manufacturability.A Systems Architect may also take on roles such as Project Engineering Lead, Work Package Manager, or Lab Manager, supporting development and production programs that range from tens of thousands to several million in value.
Required Qualifications:
Ideally, candidates should possess a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Physics or Engineering, including disciplines like Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software, or Systems Engineering.
A comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering principles, the V-Model, and related processes/lifecycles is essential.Proven experience in developing high-quality requirements and ensuring a fully compliant systems design is necessary.
Proficiency in producing high-quality technical documentation and conducting formal technical reviews of such materials is also required.
Desirable Experience:
Experience within the Defence / Aerospace sector or in a safety-regulated environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with the Naval / Maritime sector would be beneficial.
Hands-on experience with JAMA and development in hardware, software, or firmware, particularly in embedded systems, is preferred. For further details, please reach out.
