Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Caravan Sales Manager to become a vital part of our enthusiastic team at Butlin's.

Role Responsibilities

As the Caravan Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Caravan Village and will be responsible for mentoring your team to effectively connect with potential buyers, ensuring they receive an unforgettable sales journey from initiation to conclusion.

This position is hands-on; in addition to guiding and supporting your team, you will actively drive sales and assist in closing deals when necessary. You will exemplify exceptional product knowledge, maintain a transparent sales process, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

With approximately 700 caravans and pitches available, you will assist new owners throughout the sales process, ensuring their new holiday home meets their expectations.

Moreover, you will be accountable for implementing effective marketing strategies in collaboration with our marketing team, ensuring that our inventory aligns with the preferences and budgets of potential buyers. You will also explore opportunities to upgrade existing owners and foster long-term relationships with Butlin's.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing pitch retention on the park, with an annual retention target to meet. Achieving this will require close collaboration with the Experience Manager and Facilities Manager to enhance demand for upgrades and maintain owner satisfaction over the years.

Given the ambitious targets set for you and your team, a proactive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate your team towards success are essential. You should also be prepared to lead by example and make sales as needed.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a passionate individual with demonstrable experience in a management role within a caravan sales context.

The ideal candidate will possess a warm and approachable demeanor, coupled with a commitment to ensuring every customer enjoys a remarkable experience with us. Integrity is paramount in this role, as it guarantees that every guest experiences a fully transparent sales process and leaves with a positive impression of Butlin's.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will keep your team updated on the current financial status and outline plans and expectations for the upcoming months and year. Given that sales targets may be challenging, the ability to keep your team motivated and passionate about the experience we offer is vital.

You should be self-driven, possess a robust work ethic, and have a proven history of achieving sales targets in this field.
