Position – Community Care Assistant

Hours – Guaranteed 30 hours per week with flexible shift patterns including mornings and evenings, on a 2-week rolling schedule with alternate weekends

Location – Various locations within the community

This initiative aims to alleviate pressure on healthcare services by assisting individuals transitioning from hospital to home, ensuring they receive optimal support to minimize their care needs.

As a Community Care Assistant, you will be trained to a high standard, allowing you to provide exceptional outcomes for our clients. You will work with a diverse range of individuals, from those recovering from surgery to those healing from injuries or illnesses, helping them establish and achieve their recovery goals.

The focus of this role is on client recovery, promoting a happy, healthy, and independent lifestyle. Responsibilities will include aspects of personal care (such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and medication management) and encouraging clients daily to meet their objectives and enhance their overall well-being. You will collaborate with Occupational Health and Physiotherapists as needed.

We have multiple full-time positions available, and you must be ready to start immediately after completing recruitment checks.

No prior qualifications or experience are necessary as we provide a comprehensive, free training program. This includes our standard carer training and additional extensive courses in:
