Sales Operations Director

Autolus Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Sales Planning and Operations to join our growing Commercial team. This role will report directly to the VP, Cell Therapy and play a pivotal role in supporting Autolus's Field Sales Leadership and team.

As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive sales performance and optimize field operations. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of incentive compensation plans, targeting strategies, call plan optimization, field alignments, and performance reporting.
  • Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing sales operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Identify key performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Strategy, and Training, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales operations processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. A strong understanding of sales methodologies, incentive compensation design, and data analytics is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
