Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading imaginative cross-curricular learning programmes for primary, special, and secondary schools in Islington.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme Development: Design and deliver learning programmes that meet the identified needs of a target audience, such as families, schools, and people facing discrimination or social exclusion.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues at the Cally Clock Tower Centre to establish a joint and complementary learning programme at both sites.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with the community to co-produce exciting, fun community programmes, including family and under 5s activities.
  • Internal Partnerships: Develop and maintain internal partnerships that will help to achieve the services' programming vision and objectives, including colleagues in adult care, children's services, and Children's Centres.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Recognised professional museum or heritage education qualification.
  • Experience: Experience of working in a heritage site, museum, or similar cultural environment, with knowledge of and commitment to the educational and wellbeing role of heritage sites and parks.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Rate: £20.59 - £26.96 per hour.
  • Temporary Contract: 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
