Job Description

Job Title: Front Office Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at the Copthorne Hotel Manchester. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Front Office, ensuring that guests receive excellent service and that the hotel runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Front Office team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Ensure that all Front Office procedures and systems are followed, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
  • Monitor and control Front Office budgets, ensuring that expenses are within allocated limits
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Front Office performance and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food and Beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Participate in duty management shifts, as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Front Office procedures and systems, including OPERA
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
