Overview of the Position

The primary objective of this role is to deliver proactive and tailored assistance to facilitate the recovery and resilience of individuals facing multiple challenges. This position involves working across a range of long-term accommodation services designed to effectively address the cyclical nature of short-term support systems. You will be expected to uphold a strong commitment to safeguarding practices in accordance with established policies, while empowering clients to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to reach their aspirations. This includes fostering successful community relationships and guiding them towards essential services that enhance their health, wellbeing, and independence as they navigate through a prevention-focused pathway.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals with relevant expertise in delivering specialized support, which may encompass a variety of responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills coupled with a customer-centric approach are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both governmental and non-governmental
  • Experience in agile working across various locations to manage a caseload of clients
  • Proven track record in facilitating client engagement
  • Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, support planning software, and database management
  • Ability to maintain precise records that reflect identified outcomes and Key Performance Indicators
  • Competence in managing competing priorities and adhering to deadlines
  • A flexible mindset to adapt to a shift-based working environment
  • An empathetic disposition with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable youth

Trident Group boasts over 60 years of experience in providing housing, services, and innovative solutions for up to 8,000 individuals across more than 3,600 homes in some of the most underserved communities. With a workforce exceeding 750 staff members and over 150 volunteers, the Group also offers training and apprenticeship opportunities for many others. The organization has an annual turnover surpassing £37 million and manages assets valued at nearly £190 million.

The Group comprises:

  • Trident Housing, which oversees landlord services related to housing management and maintenance
  • Trident Reach, a registered charity dedicated to delivering person-centered care and support services. These services encompass support for individuals in registered care, domiciliary care, those with learning disabilities, mental health needs, at-risk youth, elderly populations, BME groups, individuals facing homelessness, and those seeking employment, education, and training opportunities, as well as those escaping domestic violence.
