Goldman Sachs (GS) is seeking an Associate to join its Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) team, a global unit comprised of 100 professionals across various international offices. This team plays a pivotal role in GS's fundraising efforts across diverse investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, hedge funds, and liquid alternatives.

The Associate will be part of the real estate ACF product specialist team based in London, focusing on the development and upkeep of marketing materials and investor communications for GS's real estate funds. This role will involve managing multiple projects simultaneously while employing a diverse skill set.

The Associate will collaborate extensively with members of the real estate group across different regions, including the US, Europe, and Asia. This includes working alongside teams in acquisitions, asset management, legal, finance, tax, and compliance to identify comprehensive portfolio solutions. Additionally, the Associate will engage with asset management investing, institutional client coverage, and wealth management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Materials & Investor Communications: Work closely with the investment team and other internal stakeholders, such as legal, risk management, operations, compliance, controllers, and tax, to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reports, and other communications.
  • Investor Due Diligence: Address investor inquiries, manage ongoing requests, and complete due diligence questionnaires.
  • New Product Launches: Support business development initiatives and assist in strategic planning for new fund launches, including co-investments, and the production of necessary documentation.
  • Support for Fundraising Team and Senior Leadership: Aid in the creation of talking points, ad hoc presentations, and strategic projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in GS Real Estate's funds and investment strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collegial team environment.

Qualifications:

Goldman Sachs seeks highly motivated individuals with strong analytical and time management skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preferred background in investor relations and/or real estate private equity.
  • A self-starter mentality with a track record of excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and execute a variety of assignments.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling materials for investors, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
