About the Role

Ares Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Associate to join our Corporate Strategy Group. As an Asset Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the team's efforts to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, as well as monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed financial and market analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Prepare complex Excel financial models to support investment evaluations
  • Analyze investment performance, including maintaining and updating financial models and tracking relevant market activities
  • Meet with management teams and sponsors to assess new investment opportunities and monitor existing investments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant investment banking, principal investing, or transaction services experience, preferably with a focus on asset management/financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Private equity calibre drive and ability to work effectively in a collegial, fast-moving, demanding, and dynamic environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
