Ares Global Client Solutions - Relationship Management
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our EMEA Relationship Management team in fundraising across all strategies of the firm, including credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and secondaries to institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic support to the EMEA Relationship Management team in structuring solutions and growing Assets Under Management (AUM) with EMEA insurance companies.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of insurance balance sheet dynamics and Solvency II regime, particularly in the UK, Europe, and Switzerland.
- Generate and implement innovative insurance-friendly asset strategies to drive business growth.
- Apply strong quantitative modeling skills to optimize asset and balance sheet performance under Market Abuse (MA) and Voting Agreements (VA).
- Stay up-to-date on market risks affecting the insurance business, sources of shareholder value, and experience working with insurance balance sheets as an advisor/employee/structurer.
- Negotiate with rating agencies and draft legal documentation, including term sheets.
- Hold an undergraduate degree.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA/coding skills are preferred.
