About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Northampton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the classroom to provide individualized support to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs
  • Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for supporting students with SEN
