Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Timeplan Education Group Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism in a variety of classroom environments across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with Autism receive the support they need to succeed.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in Autism support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with Autism, either in a school or care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students with Autism.
- Basic knowledge of Autism and its impact on learning and behavior, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills further.
