Job Summary

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEN Team

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 4.15pm Friday 8.15am - 3.45pm (Part time working will be considered).

Weeks: 39 weeks per year (38 weeks term time PLUS 5 days for training)

Holiday: Pro-Rata entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays taken during periods of school closure

Salary: Orbis pay scale £22,843 - £23,614 FTE), Actual pro rata salary £19,831 - £20,500.55 per annum

Pension: Generous local government pension scheme from day 1 of employment

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support students who are on the SEN register or are waiting for a diagnosis. This will involve supporting students with their work either in the SEN department or within the classroom; using different strategies to support each individual's needs.

The successful applicant will be morally aligned to our whole school ethos, have a positive, adaptable approach and have the ability to create strong relationships with both students and staff.
