Job Title: Regional Development Lead

Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, dedicated to supporting the well-being and development of babies, children, and young people. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Lead to join our team and contribute to our mission.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As Regional Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow external participation, consultation, and research work to inform our strategies and services.
  • Lead the development of our internal voice offer to babies, children, young people, and families, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
  • Support the development, implementation, and sales of our training offer across the North East region, leveraging a new online platform to provide in-house and packaged training to organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Development Director to conduct thorough research on potential new areas of work, scoping current issues and trends affecting babies, children, and young people.
  • Drive forward our current work across the North East region, working closely with the Operations Director and Operational Development Director.
  • Work with the Policy team to influence and drive forward our policy and campaign work, ensuring our services are delivered to the highest standards.
