Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, dedicated to supporting the well-being and development of babies, children, and young people. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Lead to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow our external participation, consultation, and research work, ensuring a strong presence in the North East region.
  • Lead the development of our internal voice offer, providing a platform for babies, children, young people, and families to share their experiences and perspectives.
  • Support the development, implementation, and sales of our training offer across the North East through a new online platform, providing in-house and packaged training to organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Development Director to conduct thorough research on potential new areas of work, scoping current issues and trends affecting babies, children, and young people.
  • Drive forward our current work across the North East region, working closely with the Operations Director and Operational Development Director.
  • Work alongside the Policy team to influence and drive forward our policy and campaign work, ensuring a strong impact in the region.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in regional development, strategic growth, or operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of the North East region and its communities.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams.
