Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a Senior Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of modelling workstreams designed to investigate the potential impact of our products on population health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key population modelling projects, working collaboratively with project teams both internally and externally.
  • Conduct literature searches, data collation, and analysis to support modelling requirements.
  • Work with internal and external partners to identify data requirements and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Implement data best practices and work collaboratively within the Population Health & Consumer Behaviour team to support study delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in data review, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SAS, Matlab, R, and/or Python.
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and apply existing knowledge to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, or Data Science.
