An exciting opportunity awaits for a Senior Technologist specializing in E-Liquids Development.

The primary aim of this position is to deliver practical and technical expertise in the dynamic field of e-liquids innovation. This role is essential to BAT's commitment to pioneering advancements in vaping. Responsibilities include a comprehensive understanding of product chemistry, analytical methodologies, and techniques pertinent to the evaluation of consumer products such as e-liquids and electronic cigarettes, including aerosols and all related materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and developing e-liquids at a laboratory scale.
  • Performing analytical tasks and producing test protocols and reports, adhering to established procedures through a solid grasp of relevant principles and concepts.
  • Collaborating with external research entities and testing facilities, reviewing and compiling reports to summarize findings.
  • Creating new operational procedures, methods, or practices for management approval in response to technical challenges, along with generating technical reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Managing samples, tracking, and establishing databases. Identifying and sourcing relevant category-specific samples for analysis.

What we seek:

  • Strong technical knowledge of e-liquids chemistry, active ingredients, and related sciences.
  • Relevant technical experience leading to a comprehensive understanding of good laboratory practices and principles of e-liquid sample preparation and analysis.
  • Experience in Data Management and Basic Statistics.
  • A university degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
