Vertu FM is a distinguished facilities management contractor recognized for delivering comprehensive building maintenance services across the UK. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated mobile engineer to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • This position primarily focuses on HVAC maintenance, including both planned and reactive tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • You will be responsible for traveling to designated sites, serving as the first point of contact for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, as well as general building maintenance tasks.
  • Responsibilities may include emergency lighting inspections, fire alarm testing, lamp replacements, basic plumbing, and general fabric maintenance.
  • Conduct HVAC and air conditioning maintenance, addressing both scheduled and urgent needs.
  • Work independently, ensuring the delivery of planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair tasks. A versatile skill set for additional tasks is advantageous.

Candidate Profile:
  • Must possess HVAC qualifications, specifically Level 2 and F Gas certification.
  • Experience in performing PPM and reactive maintenance is essential.
  • Strong general knowledge of mechanical and HVAC maintenance, along with familiarity with general facilities management trades.
  • Local residency with a willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
