Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer HVAC Specialist to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our regional client portfolio, including planned maintenance, repair, and commissioning of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Attendance and Technical Support: Attend sites as directed by the service controller or supervisor to carry out technical assistance and engineering duties, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  2. Planned Preventative Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification, or commissioning of HVAC systems as contracted to the company.
  3. Regional Duty Rota System: Participate in the regional duty rota system, enabling the company to provide a 24-hour call-out service to its customers and ensuring that reactive call-outs are responded to within 4 hours.
  4. Risk Assessments and Compliance: Prepare risk assessments on site, where required, to achieve compliance with health, safety, and environmental duties.
  5. Value-Added Services: Identify opportunities to add value to the client through the provision of additional or alternative services and report such opportunities to the line manager.
  6. Local Sales Activities: Assist in local sales activities by submitting sales leads to the sales team, making a personal sales contribution.
  7. Apprentice and Trainee Supervision: Assume day-to-day control of apprentices or trainees who may be placed with you and liaise with relevant supervisors regarding their progress and well-being.
  8. Qualifications and Certifications: Hold a full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points and undergo enhanced DBS checks as required by the company.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience within the A/C service industry as a mobile service engineer.
