Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer HVAC Specialist to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients across the South-East of England.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Visits and Technical Support: Attend client sites as directed by the service controller or supervisor to provide technical assistance and engineering duties as required.
  2. Planned Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification, or commissioning of plant and equipment as contracted to the company.
  3. Regional Duty Rota: Participate in the regional duty rota system to ensure a 24-hour call-out service to our customers and respond to reactive call-outs within 4 hours.
  4. Risk Assessments and Compliance: Prepare risk assessments on site to achieve compliance with health, safety, and environmental duties.
  5. Value-Added Services: Identify opportunities to add value to our clients through the provision of additional or alternative services and report such opportunities to your line manager.
  6. Local Sales Activities: Assist in local sales activities by submitting sales leads to the sales team, making a personal sales contribution.
  7. Apprentice and Trainee Supervision: Assume day-to-day control of apprentices or trainees placed with you and liaise with supervisors regarding their progress and well-being.
  8. Qualifications and Certifications: Hold a full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points and undergo enhanced DBS checks as required by the company.
  9. Teamwork and Autonomy: Demonstrate the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  10. Industry Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 years of working experience within the A/C service industry as a mobile service engineer.
