Job Summary

We are seeking a confident and customer-focused Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our team at Reed, covering the Hertfordshire and Essex region. As a key member of our community team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our estates are clean and safe, and that our residents feel supported and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other teams, external agencies, and residents to identify and address community concerns and issues.
  • Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Work with local resident groups to develop local community facilities, activities, and events that promote community engagement and social cohesion.
  • Investigate breaches of tenancy and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Develop effective working relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, local authorities, and other external agencies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service and housing, with a strong understanding of community safety and estate management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the role.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the region, with a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
