About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with light household domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Help customers with the management of their personal affairs, including reading letters and managing utilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and their families, building trusted relationships and providing emotional support
  • Encourage customers to participate in social activities and feel part of the community
  • Ensure customers are safe at all times, following Riverside's Policy and Procedure framework
  • Maintain accurate records of care and support provided, as well as tasks undertaken
  • Respond promptly to and report any concerns relating to the care, support, or well-being of customers

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a customer-focused, residential environment, offering personal care to a diverse group of people
  • Awareness of housing and health and safety legislation and regulation
  • Flexibility to work hours to meet customer and business needs, including working outside of normal office hours and lone working
  • Basic administrative skills and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
