Consultant Psychiatrist for Older Peoples Mental Health Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Care Team for Older People (HICTOP) in Hull. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical leadership and contribute to the development of our service, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective care and treatment to patients, working collaboratively with our team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the bio-psycho-social needs of our patients.
- Contribute to the development of our service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, promoting a culture of integrated working.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, providing 24/7 cover for our service.
Requirements
- Full registration with the GMC and possession of the MRCPsych UK or equivalent post-graduate qualification.
- On the Specialist Register for Old Age Psychiatry or within 6 months of achieving CCT in Old Age Psychiatry.
- Approved as a Responsible Clinician or willing to undertake training to obtain Section 12(2) MHA.
