Consultant Psychiatrist for Older Peoples Mental Health Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Care Team for Older People (HICTOP) in Hull. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical leadership and contribute to the development of our service, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and treatment to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective care and treatment to patients, working collaboratively with our team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of our service, sharing your expertise and knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, helping us to stay at the forefront of mental health care.
- Work closely with our team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible support and treatment.
- Take on on-call responsibilities, providing 24/7 cover for our service and ensuring that our patients receive the care they need, whenever they need it.
Requirements
- Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise.
- Membership of the Specialist Register for Old Age Psychiatry or equivalent.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to manage complex cases and make decisions based on evidence and experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and with patients and their families.
- Able to commute within the Trust's geographical area and have access to the appropriate means of transport.
