What’s the opportunity:

Reporting to the Programme Purchasing Manager, you will lead and oversee our sourcing strategy across the vehicle program to ensure all commodities adhere to the sourcing protocol and that purchasing program standards are fulfilled.

What you will do:

  • Steer and support the Purchasing Function to guarantee successful contract execution across Suppliers and facilitate a successful manufacturing ramp-up to Programme launch.
  • Lead and assist critical workstreams, comprehend key challenges, and provide solutions to alleviate supply chain risks to ensure successful program execution.
  • Accountable for reporting metrics, KPIs, and status in key management reviews while maintaining their precision.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering and Manufacturing partners.
  • Implement and influence Business change management processes.
  • Foster cross-functional business relationships from Product Development, Supplier Quality, to Cost Engineering.
  • Contribute to driving continuous improvement across the Business.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in Direct purchasing/Programme purchasing.
  • Proficient in creating reports and key metrics.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the automotive sector (preferred).
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills.
  • Analytical and methodical approach and mindset.
