We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing all areas of IT spend and leading key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Strategic Procurement: Lead end-to-end IT procurement processes, from needs assessment to contract negotiation, ensuring top-tier technology solutions and cost-efficiency.
- Supplier Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers, negotiating competitive contracts and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Optimize Costs: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, manage procurement budgets, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all IT procurement activities comply with public sector regulations and industry standards, while mitigating risks effectively.
- Proven experience managing end to end IT spend processes: demonstrated expertise in overseeing the entire IT procurement lifecycle, and a track record of successfully managing large-scale IT procurement projects, ensuring cost-efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals: experience in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Public sector procurement expertise: in-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, policies and procedures.
- Strategic procurement planning: ability to develop and implement strategic procurement plans that drive value and innovation.
- Competitive salary: £45,000-£55,000.
- Flexible working arrangements: hybrid structure, allowing for remote work and a strong work-life balance.
