Procurement Manager for IT Assets Job Description

At Forseven, we are looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to lead our IT asset procurement efforts. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement of IT software licenses and hardware, ensuring cost-effective solutions while adhering to company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities for IT software licenses and hardware
  • Create and implement category strategies for IT software and hardware
  • Conduct market analysis to identify vendors and manage competitive bidding processes
  • Negotiate software licensing agreements and hardware supply contracts
  • Oversee contract management from onboarding through lifecycle renewal
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings in software licensing and hardware procurement

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect procurement
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in software license terms and hardware procurement agreements
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and technologies
