We are seeking a Project Sales Leader for the Universal Business Team, a reputable and established organization.

The Project Sales Leader will be accountable for fostering profitable expansion within the project sector through effective management of sales pipelines and proactive interaction with clients, designers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.

This position emphasizes client relationship management and new business development to ensure exceptional service delivery and growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and mentor the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Manage project sales operations and budget allocations.
  • Engage in periodic pricing strategy discussions with the Pricing Committee.
  • Ensure precise management of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Build networks within the industry to enhance the company’s standing.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to optimize the use of showroom facilities and manage event calendars.
  • Contribute to the international sales strategy and oversee export opportunities for global projects.
  • Ensure the project team capitalizes on product opportunities through contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide updates on key opportunities during weekly sales meetings.
  • Facilitate collaboration among specification managers, project sales leaders, and project estimators.
  • Oversee the identification of new business opportunities and ensure they are documented in the CRM system.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the top 100 UK specifiers, ensuring consistent engagement and management.
  • Organize and participate in industry events to boost brand visibility.
  • Manage telemarketing initiatives and conduct training sessions.

Contractor Engagement:
  • Interact with relevant contractors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and ensure they are recorded in the CRM system.
  • Build relationships with the top 100 UK contractors and participate in industry events to enhance brand outreach.
  • Conduct telemarketing and training sessions, manage project meetings, and prepare proposals.

Merchant Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the trade team to gather necessary contact information and conduct telemarketing.
  • Support and explain the project registration system and its implications for pricing.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in project channel management within a B2B context.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong pipeline management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
