Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Seddon Plant & Engineers Ltd. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading our sales strategy and driving business growth across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives
- Lead a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including tool and equipment hire companies, contractors, and merchants
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role
- Experience in selling to similar customers, including plant and tool hire, builders merchants, construction, civil engineering, utilities, landscaping, and groundscare contractors
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to travel nationally, with a preference for candidates based within commutable distance of our Bolton head office
